Mike helps clients bring clarity to the uncertainties and challenges they face in their financial lives. He takes a holistic look at their current financial situation and helps them identify and quantify their existing risk exposures and future financial goals. By taking this approach, he effectively assists clients in their efforts to efficiently build, preserve, and plan for the distribution of their wealth. Entering the financial services industry in 1998, he has held numerous positions and has developed a valuable skill in thoroughly analyzing his clients’ financial needs. He works well with his clients’ other advisors, such as their CPAs and Attorneys, in servicing their tax and legal financial needs. Mike enjoys participating in several civic activities as well. He is a past-President of the Old Dominion University Alumni Association. He has served as past-Chair of the Norfolk Division and past-Vice Chair of Governmental Affairs on the regional board of directors for the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce. Lastly, Mike has served as past-President of the Business Consortium for Art Support and is a current member of the South Hampton Roads United Way Board of Directors. Mike is also a CFP® certificant which is a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. He holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Old Dominion University. He lives in the Ghent area of Norfolk with his wife Stephanie and their two children Samantha and Jake.
