Bank of America Merrill Lynch Names Joel Rhew as
Global Commercial Banking Senior Client Manager
Bank of America Merrill Lynch is pleased to announce it has named Joel Rhew as senior vice president and senior client manager, serving middle market companies with annual revenues of $50 million to $2 billion. Based in Norfolk, VA, he will be responsible for building relationships with clients and helping them meet their financial goals.
Mr. Rhew joins the Bank after a 23-year tenure at SunTrust Bank and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where he most recently served as senior vice president of commercial and corporate banking. He has worked extensively with clients in a variety of industries, including: manufacturing, food and agriculture, wholesale distribution, retail and financial services. Prior to that, he worked at Bank of America predecessor banks in Virginia for 17 years.
Mr. Rhew serves as a board member for the Portsmouth Partnership, Hampton Roads Economic Development Alliance and the Economics Club of Hampton Roads.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.
