Juggling a cup of coffee, one of his 4-month-old twins and his 20-month-old daughter are the start to a typical day for Andrew Hodge.
Hodge, 47, is the senior vice president and regional president for Union Bank & Trust .
“It’s a bank that is evolving and going through a lot of change,” Hodge said. “We’re essentially building a regional Virginia bank. Why is that important? There is no such thing at this point and time. There are larger community banks that are based in the state of Virginia, but there’s no regional bank that covers the entire state. Union Bank does now with our last merger. So, we’re sort of harkening back and rebuilding that Virginia regional bank — something that hasn’t existed in 20 years.”
He oversees 32 people in the commercial and business banking teams on the Southside of Hampton Roads, the Outer Banks and the Eastern Shore.
