We're collecting healthy food for our community and we need YOUR help!

 

OCTOBER 1 - THANKSGIVING

 

We're helping to collect non-perishable healthy food items for the participants of the Jim White Community Fitness Foundation LIFT Program. Our LIFT program was designed to help motivate, energize and inspire those in need to believe in themselves while unleashing their full potential. In each LIFT session we motivate members to push forward and create a more positive mind frame. Through our LIFT sessions, we have seen our participants gain confidence which has inspired them to get jobs, improve their health, and LIFT their spirits in all areas of their life.


 

MOST WANTED NON-PERISHABLE HEALTHY ITEMS: (High fiber, low sugar, low sodium)

  • Bottled water                                                                  
  • Healthy snacks: applesauce, raisins, granola bars          
  • Peanut Butter                                                                   
  • Grains: brown rice, whole wheat pastas                          
  • Canned vegetables - low sodium, no salt added             
  • Canned fruits - in light syrup or its own juices
  • Hot & cold cereals: oatmeal, cornflakes, raisin bran, cheerios
  • Canned tuna, salmon or chicken
  • Canned or dry beans
  • 100% juice - all sizes

Items are being collected at any JWFNS location
