What small business couldn’t use a little extra cash! How about $250,000 in cash? Well, 12 lucky small businesses will be selected to receive a $250,000 grant from Chase as part of the newly announced Mission Main Street Grants program. (#MissionMainSt)
You have from now until October 31 to register and until November 15 to get 250 votes from your friends, fans and family to be eligible. In addition to the $250,000 grant, the 12 lucky winners will receive a trip to Google’s headquarters in Mountain View, CA for an exclusive 2-day interactive workshop with online marketing experts and a Google Chromebook Pixel computer. Whoo-hoo! Plus every eligible participant will receive a special advertising offer from Premier Sponsor Google and access to a Social Media Toolkit.
Here are the specifics.
* Visit the Mission Main Street Grants website and complete your business profile and grant questionnaire. You must be a U.S.-based, for-profit small business in operation for at least two years and employ fewer than 100 full-time employees. (Full eligibility requirements are on the site.)
* Get your tribe to vote for you via Facebook through November 15. You must get at least 250 votes in order to be eligible for a grant.
* Twelve expert panelists will select the grant recipients from the pool of applicants who meet the eligibility requirements. The winners will be announced in January.
