Virginia Employment Commission seeking Comments on Regulations

Governor McDonnell recently announced a special initiative to abolish regulations that are obsolete or unduly cumbersome on citizens. He has directed all Executive Branch agencies to perform a review of their regulations and develop recommendations with respect to those that could be considered for rescission or repeal. Agencies have been requested to solicit comments from their stakeholders regarding those regulations that may be obsolete or cumbersome.  This process is focused on the repeal or abolition of existing regulations, not the promulgation of new ones.

Virginia Employment Commission is currently seeking comments on their regulations.  A list of VEC’s regulations can be found here: http://leg1.state.va.us/000/reg/TOC16005.HTM. Comments can be submitted by letter, fax or email to:
