LEAD Hampton Roads (LHR), the region’s oldest and largest leadership organization, is hosting brainstorming sessions across Hampton Roads to develop ideas that will create awareness of our region on a national scale. The goal is to develop and implement 10 initiatives that can be executed for little or no cost and can happen immediately. The initiatives will be designed to introduce or reinforce Hampton Roads as a premier region for business and quality of life and “put us on the map.” Members of the LEAD Hampton Roads Class of 2010 will implement the 10 ideas selected from the sessions.
Creative professionals who appreciate our region and the name Hampton Roads are invited to attend one of the sessions and engage in a lively brainstorming activity to create a public relations campaign that can boost the area’s prosperity and quality of life.
The sessions will take place from 5:30-7:30pm on:
Tues., Nov. 16 at WHRO, 5200 Hampton Blvd., Norfolk
Tues., Nov. 30 at Bensi Restaurant, 5101 Kilgore Ave., Peninsula Town Center, Hampton
Wed., Dec. 8 at Still Worldly Eclectic Tapas, 450 Court St., Portsmouth
There is no charge for attending. Space is limited to 25 at each session. Contact Sara Wilson at 757-664-2516 for more information and to reserve a space. LHR is a program of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce.
