The 2019 Inside Business Power list features 100 leaders within the region who are helping to shape the future of Hampton Roads.
Angela Blackwell Carter: "Carter manages one of the first programs developed after five chambers of commerce merged into the Hampton Roads Chamber as the executive director of LEAD Hampton Roads and vice president of leadership development for the chamber. The 30th continuing education class graduated last May. Professionals already in the workforce representing private, public and nonprofit areas are among the more than 1,500 total graduates. She is the recipient of the Preceptor Award from the National Association of Leadership Programs for her achievement in leadership development."
Bryan K. Stephens: "The Hampton Roads Chamber is a business organization that assists people: programs created in the last two years have benefited veterans, young professionals, women leaders and minorities. President and CEO Stephens announced at an annual meeting that initiatives for 2019 would include a military advisory council, education and workforce initiatives and taking the lead on rebranding the region."
