Over 200 Chamber members and prospective members engaged in the opportunity to expand their networks and make business connections at the Hampton Roads Chamber Suffolk B2B Expo on Wednesday, May 31st at the Suffolk Hilton Garden Inn. As a powerful economic partner for our members on both sides of the water, the Suffolk B2B Expo gave business owners from throughout Hampton Roads the opportunity to share their products and services.
“Events like this in Suffolk is a wonderful way for the Hampton Roads Chamber to show its support for the city,” said Tami Burke, Director of Marketing and Public Relations of Virginia Eye Consultants, “this is our second year being here, and our experience today with the Suffolk B2B was impactful for the city and businesses.”
There were more than 30 vendors in attendance, and first year attendee and newly joined Chamber member Anita Gregory, a Business Developer with Payday Payroll, was pleased with the opportunity to get some exposure for her business. “I enjoyed meeting all the vendors, and the biggest benefit I gained was meeting new people and getting to know them,” said Gregory, “I will definitely be around for next year’s [event].”
Through being an inspiring ignitor the Chamber is intentional in our efforts to create opportunities to promote economic prosperity and effectively impact the region.
