NORFOLK, VA – The Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce and the Hampton Roads Sports Commission will host an inaugural Sand Kickball Tournament on Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Ocean View Fishing Pier (400 West Ocean View Ave., Norfolk). Play starts at 2 p.m. This unique recreational kickball tournament will be played on the beach and will be the first ever of its kind in the region.
Teams from non-profit organizations, small, mid-size and large corporations will compete in a high energy, double elimination sand kickball tournament. The event will conclude with an awards presentation and networking on the upper deck of the Ocean View Fishing Pier.
Registration is $350 for a team of 12. Snacks and cash bar available. Players will receive an event T-shirt. Deadline is August 31.
