Apollo 14 Astronaut Dr. Edgar D. Mitchell Headlines Consciousness Conference at A.R.E. Headquarters in Virginia Beach
Virginia Beach, Va. On January 31, 1971, Apollo 14 lifted off from Cape Kennedy, and three days later Edgar Mitchell and Alan Shepard walked on the surface of the moon. As amazing as this feat was, for Mitchell, the most extraordinary journey was yet to come. As he plunged toward earth through the vastness of space, Mitchell became engulfed by a sense of universal connectednessa profound sense that he and the beings on the planet below were connected as part of a deliberate designand that the cosmos itself was somehow conscious. The experience changed Mitchells life in ways he could never have anticipated, and he has devoted the past 40 years to studying human consciousness and psychic and paranormal phenomena in the search for a common ground between science and spirit. He is bringing that message to Edgar Cayces A.R.E. for the new Breakthroughs to a New Consciousness: Science, Spirituality, and the Limitless Mind Conference from March 27-29, 2015.

Not only will attendees have a rare opportunity to meet one of a few individuals who have walked on the moon, but they will discover new possibilities for human potential, hear the latest scientific research and findings on the consciousness of our cosmos, and even travel to the realm beyond death to explore the implications of the near-death experience. Joining Dr. Mitchell are Marilyn Schlitz, PhD, a leader in the field of consciousness studies; Stephan A. Schwartz, consulting faculty of Saybrook University and research associate of the Cognitive Sciences Laboratory; Kevin J. Todeschi, MA, executive director and CEO of Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. and Atlantic University (AU); Doug Richards, PhD, faculty member at AU and co-founder of Meridian Institute; Neil Helm, MA, scholar-in-residence at AU; and Loyd Auerbach, MS, Director of the Office of Paranormal Investigations and professor at AU and JFK University.

Open to all, the Breakthroughs to a New Consciousness Conference is scheduled for March 27-29, 2015, at Edgar Cayce's A.R.E., 215 67th Street, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451.
