Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia and the City of Chesapeake have started the development of a plan for services for persons 55+. This will be part of the City’s Comprehensive Plan. Chesapeake citizens ages 55+ are a big portion of the population. By 2040, the population 55+ in Chesapeake will be over 87,000.
The Plan will discuss:
Senior Services wants hear from you about what you think is important. We want to hear from people of all ages. You may already be 55+ or may know for someone who is 55+. You may care about what our community will be like for when you are a senior and this plan will serve as a guide for making decisions that will ensure a livable community for all ages.
