Inaugural Spring Business to Business Expo was Held on April 8
The Chamber hosted its first annual Spring Business to Business Expo on April 8 from 4 - 7p.m. at the Chesapeake Marriott. Of the 500 people who attended, nearly 100 were exhibitors showcasing community businesses.

The Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce hosted its first annual Spring Business to Business Expo on April 8 from 4 - 7p.m. at the Chesapeake Marriott. Of the 500 people who attended, nearly 100 were exhibitors showcasing community businesses. Business professionals took advantage of the large-scale networking opportunity, discovering new products and services and entertaining the chance of winning valuable door prizes.

Pete Aldridge from Home Paramount Pest Control was so impressed with the crowd. Aldridge said, “I brought over 500 business cards and went through them all in the first 15 minutes! I am going to make sure I bring 1,000 business cards to the Mega Monster Mixer in October.”

Raj Chander from Tactical Office Solutions thought the event was great. He explained, “I saw some familiar faces and some people that I've never met before and overall I was very happy with the amount of people there. I will definitely keep my eye on the Chamber website and attend as many future Chamber events as I can.”

Mary Crosby from ForKids had a good experience at the Expo. She expressed, "As a Job Developer at ForKids, I am always seeking employers who are currently hiring, so that our homeless families can become employed and get back on their feet. The Spring Business to Business Expo provided me with a great opportunity to learn about various industries in Hampton Roads and meet several managers and owners that I can connect with in the future."

“The Chamber is so honored to have hosted such a successful event,” said JC Kreidel, Senior Vice President of Membership and Communications for the Chamber.  “We’re working very hard to find new avenues for our members to succeed, hosting events that allow them to do what it’s all about – make meaningful connections and do business. Based on the feedback we’ve received, we’ll be looking to replicate this in the future.”
