Event Description

 The Military Recognition Reception is an informal opportunity for the business community to provide additional recognition to our service members and thank them personally for a job well done. The guest speaker for the April program is suspense novelist and U.S. Army Special Forces Col. John Fenzel. Col. Fenzel has served as a military assistant on the personal staff of the Secretary of Defense, Special Assistant to the Vice President and has also served as Staff Director for the Homeland Security Council. He was the Principal Architect of the Homeland Security Advisor System; our nation’s color-coded alert system.

Commands of all services may have up to three of their unit's oustanding service members (E6 and below) recognized at the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce Military Recognition Reception (MRR).
