Women’s History Month: When the World Breaks Open

This Women’s History Month celebration features Seema Reza, poet, essayist and the author of When the World Breaks Open (Red Hen Press, 2016).  An alumna of Goddard College and Voices of Our Nations Arts Foundation (VONA), Reza’s work has appeared in Bellevue Literary Review, The Beltway Quarterly, HerKind, Duende, The Offing and Entropy, among others.  In 2015, Reza was awarded the Col. John Gioia Patriot Award by USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore for her work with military service members.
