ABNB Financial of ABNB Federal Credit Union wins 2017 Impact Award

 

 

ABNB Federal Credit Union announced that its investment services program, ABNB Financial available through and with representatives registered through broker- dealer CUSO Financial Services L.P. (CFS), received the 2016 Gold Impact Award for Branch Networking at the CFS “No Boundaries and 20th Anniversary” 2017 Annual Conference, recently held in San Diego, California.

 

 The Impact Award was given in recognition of the ongoing networking campaign “Wonderful Wednesdays.” In 2016, ABNB’s Financial Services program’s Sales Assistant, Susan Newman, instituted an ongoing recognition program called “Wonderful Wednesdays” where she features a weekly success story from the branches and shares it with all staff, Executives, and Board of Directors of ABNB Federal Credit Union each week. Through her enthusiasm, creativity, and support “Wonderful Wednesdays” has grown to be a coveted recognition tool in the branches. With the use of weekly emails and additional monthly prize incentives, Newman was able to continue the referral success story momentum throughout the entire year. In fact, during 2016 ABNB Federal Credit Union’s Financial Team, led by Program Manager, Mark Curtis, consisting of three Financial Advisor Representatives, achieved 356 seen and qualified appointments.

 

CEO and President of ABNB Federal Credit Union, Charlie Mallon, attended the Annual Conference alongside the ABNB Financial Team. He notes, “Susan’s effort to motivate staff about ABNB Financial products and services does not go unnoticed. She brings such enthusiasm and excitement to the program that is in infectious amongst the organization. We are very proud of her on being this year’s Impact Award recipient.”

 

The team at ABNB Federal Credit Union has provided investment and insurance services to the credit union’s members in the Hampton Roads area for over 15 years. Available offerings include retirement planning, wealth management, estate planning, business services, college savings, 401(k) and 457 rollovers, insurance, and more

 

The annual awards are presented by CFS as a way to recognize outstanding investment programs for their production, commitment to superior service and outstanding performance that helps each organization meet and exceed its goals.
